dm800 wont boot beyond error on display screen

hi,

I have a dm800 sat box, which has been re-imaged unfortunately i think the file was either corrupt or mislabelled because i now get an error saying sim 201 error sim 201 not found , which i think means it was a clone image. I have tried dream up and null modem cable, it will connect but then does not see when the box is turned on. Please advise what my next step needs to be and if i can send it somewhere for repair.

If your box is a cheap clone and not an original Dreambox -> End of support ...

If it is an original Dreambox get an original image from www.dreamboxupdate.com and Flash ist without fear.
