Internal Flash Full On Dm800Hd Pvr

Hi newbie here, I have encountered a problem whilst trying to config my externall HDD to my DM800HD PVR in trying to find a recording route path I have filled up my internal flash drive and it will not allow me to delete the recording and instead crashes to the green error screen, this has also corrupted other processes like scans and even trying to reboot the box whereby it also crashes to a green error box, I guess because the flash is full the instructions cannot be processed thus the error reports. Can any one PLEASE ASSIST me in knowing how to delete the full internal flash drive safetly without changing my system config and[Moderator] violation of the Boardrules [/Moderator] setting?

I will hopefully also learn after the flash fault is sorted, also how to find the correct way of adding a external HDD esata file path from you wonderfull people.
