Segmention Fault bei ipkg install
Hi,
wenn ich im aktuellen CVS (ist schon bei ein paar Versionnen passiert) versuche, per ipkg install ein Addon zu installieren passiert sowas:
root@dm7025:/# ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-tuxboxplugins_1.0cvs20060306-r0_mipsel.ipk
ipkg: fork failed
Segmentation fault
Das plugin ist dabei austauschbar.
Jemand ne Idee? Die Box läuft ansonsten eigentlich gut.

The most common cause of a failed fork is that you are running out of memory. Try adding some swap.
Ich habe heute mit einem neuen Image auch gleich einige plugins mittels ipkg eingespielt und das hat problemlos geklappt.
Ausser, dass die verfügbaren plugins noch nicht viel hergeben.

das image ist von mir cvs von heute abend und die plugins sind auch die meinen
das ist ja das komische bei mir geht alles ohne ein problem toppi kann null installen...
das mit swap wäre ne idee - thanks we will try this

das "fork failed" scheint in der tat nen speicherproblem zu sein,
ich hoffe es gibt bald nen bisschen mehr user speicher, versprechen kann ichs aber nicht.

danke für die Antworten. Hatte mir halt ein wenig Sorgen gemacht, dass der Speicher evtl. defekt ist. So werde ich mal ein Swap einrichten und weiterschauen.

nein keine angst, das problem hab ich hier auch. Enigma beenden (init 5) hilft.
