hope you went back to the "old" Webif command and not change the WAP interface - else controlR, and TV-Browser will still not work

No. I actually changed the WAP interface to the new one, so now everything should be consistent.

However, it seems that the TV-Browser uses the "normal" interface (not WAP), and there I added a backward compatibility fix so it can be called with both the old and the new parameters. If there are external programs using the WAP interface I will of course have to add the compatibility fix there too.

Regarding controlR, I can't see what it has to do with timers at all? Does it still fail?

But please tell me if I'm wrong above, because this web stuff is really not my thing - I'm just trying to get the recent locations and tags changes consistently added throughout Enigma2, and then I will silently leave the webif field again.

Just a general note:
If you encounter any incompatibilities with an existing app due to changes made to the webinterface please report that.
In general I do only test the the webinterface with the Browser but not with every single 3rd party app available.
If something gets broken please just drop a note so someone can fix it!

@reichi: setting Timer Controlr and TV-Browser do not work, it is not nice to change 3.rd pardy connections - without testing this

please repair and test communication to TV-Browser and ControlR.

you know, i won't buy an iPhone just for testing that.
There has a lot of work been done on the webinterface during the last weeks. I spent almost my whole christmas holidays on doing the rewrite.
Do you have the latest webinterface? Because tv-browser was fixed just a few days ago!

Please try again with a Snapshot newer than Today -
I fixed/worked around two more problems one of which seems to have been the one that was bugging the "controlr".

Btw: Just saying "this doesn't work" does not really help anyone. You can easily log the problem with telnet and help us fix the issues.

hello and first of all, nice to meet you guys

my problem with latest webif is, timer feature.

when im tryin to select a chan for recording, the bouquets category just doesnt open, it remains selected and thats how it goes.

my box is dm800, webif version enigma2-plugin-extensions-webinterface_2.6cvs20090213-r0_mipsel

Yes, I just noticed this morning (and wondered how it could have gone unnoticed for so long)! A large piece of code related to channel selection has accidentally been removed. I will fix it tonight.

hey Ryu, den Vorschlag hatte schonmal jmd gemacht. Wenn ich mal die notwendige Zeit hab überleg ich mir da irgendwas, ich tendiere allerdings aktuell eher zu ner Art Livesuche.

Ich habe gerade das aktuelle im ersten Posting installiert.
Was mir aufgefallen ist, ist das die Marker auch als sender angezeigt werden! Mit stream, epg etc...
- Wäre es möglich wen man beim Boxcontrol zb. enigma restart drück das meine eine rückanwort bekommt! Eben war das so das ich es gedrückt hab und ich wusste nicht ob es geklappt hat oder nicht!
z.B. * Befehl wurde an dreambox gesndet* oder *

das mit der Antowrt ist so ne Sache... Ob das Herunterfahren erfolgrach war oder nicht kann ich im prinzip nur dadurch feststellen dass ich eben KEINE Antwort mehr bekomme... Ob es dann aber wirklcih geklappt hat ist dann eher Vermutung als Sicherheit
