The author of the MyTube plugin seams to be acid-burn (at least he checked it into schwerkraft)... If it does not work anymore: He is the person to ask...

BUT: Probably he does not support this plugin anymore because he has no more time to do so.

Then you have to find somebody, willing to dive into code of another programmer (its open source and can be found on http://schwerkraft.elitedvb.net/scm/view…enigma2-plugins ) who can fix it.

Ok thanks,

It would be very bad if we lose such an important and a good plugin,
but this plugin stops working after last updates
I think Ghost and co know what the CVS have changed
that the plugin no longer works.

Hopefully someone can make a fix.

Just deleted the other Thread you opened.
Why do you think it helps to post the same problem all over the Board.

The only thing that happens, you're pissing off the mod's who have to delete that stuff.

I'm sorry ,I understand because I'm also admin
But I feel the same when I write something and no one answered.

I hope that we together,can test and solve problems
more efficiently.

I was hoping that you will read my post
I have tested today on the DM800 but not yet on the last image
I will make a re-test
What happens
After two or more movies
green screen with no crash log
Remote does not work
and reboot is only possible via telnet
or you have green screen with only audio.
But I will make agn image flash and test.
I'll make my new report to the new test.

I will take this opportunity to friendly ask you
When you can found the time to look this problems related to TXT subtitles
You probably have seen posts related to this issue.
This all is not for me personally but for our users.

but still we have the same situation.
After watching a few video clips, green screen
without a crash log, and no response to remote.

Hi,

I tried mytube today with a new enigma2 build. I get the error about eTPM (see screenshot). It seemd eTPM code has now been removed from the cvs.

Is there a work around ?

Uhm no, ... that's the clone protection and eTPM Service that is part of enigma2 since many months.

What image have you installed in your flash ? That plugin simply tries to verfiy that you have a original dreambox, like many other plugins.

And for this you need a current image/firmware on your box, where that eTPM Stuff is installed by default ...

I also have latest OE 1.6 experimental image installed, no problem here with the other plugins that are using this stuff. But haven't tried mytube yet, but it should also work here because I have this eTPM Stuff ...

Hi,

I use my own cvs oe-1.6 image for the dm500hd..

My comment was that - in earlier enigma2 cvs there were files /lib/base/etpm.cpp and etpm.h. Now these files are not included. This is a difference between enigma2-experimental-git and enigma2-2.8git. See here :-

That is why I had this error message.

I was asking if there is a simple solution.

I can include these files in my enigma2 build and compile. But will this cause some other problem in the image ?

looks like you have messed or mixed sth with experimental and stable releases.

enigma2-2.8git is release (master) branch while enigma2-experimental-git as the name says is experimental.

Building release version of enigma2 with newer date on the enigma2-plugins would lead exactly to your problem.

Here works everything as supposed with the newest experimental from dreamboxupdate.

perhaps you should trie that one.

Is this the answer to my question about MYTube not working on DM800 ??

I do not want change again image in flash if the problem is not resolved.

Last time i have test on DM500HD and after short test

it seems that on DM500HD is OK.

Yes.
if it works on dm500HD and 8k it should also work on the same 800HD experimental images.

if it crashes why you dont post a crashlog ?
