rsync installations problem
Vielleicht kann mir einer helfen.
Ziel ist es die DM8000 als rsync server zu nutzen.
Ich habe mir "rsync_3.0.7_mipsel.ipk" heruntergeladen, in das /tmp verzeichniss kopiert, und dann "ipkg install rsync_3.0.7_mipsel.ipk" ausgeführt, darufhin bekomme ich:
Installing rsync (3.0.7) to root...
An error ocurred, return value: 2.
Collected errors:
Package rsync wants to install file /usr/lib/libpopt.so.0.0.0

Ich traue mich nicht "ipkg -force-reinstall rsync_3.0.7_mipsel.ipk" durchzuführen.
Ich habe:
Image Version: Experimental 2010-11-01
Frontprozessor Version: V7
Webinterface Version: 1.6.2
Was mache ich falsch?

die frage ist, warum rsync eine lib überschreiben will, die es als einzelnes ipk gibt. so was würde ich mir nicht auf die box kloppen. das ipk würde ich erst mal auseinander nehmen und genauer anschauen. wo stammt denn das ipk her?

Rsync Herkunft
Hallo OoZooN
Ich habe mir die "rsync_3.0.7_mipsel.ipk" zusammengegoogelt und letztendlich von hier[Moderator] Link verstößt gegen die Boardregeln [/Moderator] heruntergeladen.
Wenn ich den Thread durchlese steht einmal drin es wäre bereits auf dem Image und dann wieder nicht.
Da ich mit "find -name *rsync*" auf meiner DM8000 nix gefunden habe dachte ich mir ich installiere mal das ipk.
Komme ich den weiter wenn ich auf die v.3.01 gehe, bzw. frage ist rsync ein Bestandteil des Codes.
Auf jedenfall bin ich am Ende mit meinem ungesunden Halbwissen.

Lösung gefunden
Es hat mir keine Ruhe gelassen, ich habe mir das aktuellste experimental aufgespielt, und nachträglich das "rsync_3.0.6-r0_mipsel.ipk" eingespielt.
Jetzt geht es los mit konfigurieren.
...nebenbei ich habe Freitag auch die v.3.01 aussprobiert und mehrfach greenscreens bekommen wegen dem AutoVolume Plugin, dadurch das sowohl die dreamupdate und später noch das dreamboard am Samstag für mich unereichbar war konnte ich meine Lieblingserweiterungen nicht herunterladen.
Ist Samstags wartungstag, oder konnte nur ich am Samstagabend die updateseite nicht erreichen?
