I have an original Dreambox 800 ****** 5.00 in flash .Its warming pretty hard and I put a fan internally connected to pins 2 and 4 from the scart which operates only when DM is started automatically stops when put in standby mode !! Is safe to conect fan to scart???I dont want to broke my dream!!!!

why not connect it to the internal usb port, it supplies power, lots of people use it for that.

I have a 2.5 hdd installed and dont have any problems without a fan, but some users want to add one, its your prerogative
