Subtitle Downloader

Hi,

Let me inform You that I've finished first version of plugin that downloads movie subtitles (based on movie hash sum) from suitable subtitle servers.

You can download program from:

Current version features:
-basic file browser,
- Open Subtitle and Napi Projekt servers handling,

Final plugin description is placed in TODO.

Because this is my first program which will be used by big amount of users please let me know about errors. I'll try to eliminate them ASAP.

In few days I'll add plugin full manual in project's wiki.

The bug had been noticed to me.

Plugin requires python-zlib to work correctly.

Please do it manually. I'll correct this error ASAP and notice You about this.

Yesterday I attached latest plugin version on GOOGLE CODE.

I removed error which caused problems with missing modules.

I tested plugin on 4 different images (details on project main page), and it works.

Have a fun with it.

Hi,

After some break I've just released next plugin version.

What is new:

ver 0.13.3:
- corrected handling of media pattern filter = "no" error in def return_media_kind() function,
- implemented utf-8-sig file code page conversion (subtitle conversion is little faster),
- possibility to add/remove Subs Downloader execution from Blue Panel menu,
- any2srt conversion less sensitive on MLP2, TMP, MDVD, SUB2 subtitle errors.

BTW.
I want to implement MOV handling but I can't find a way to get FPS from this kind of files.
If someone knows how to do it (or know here it's placed in file structure) please give me advice via project email.

There were myFileList bug so pepole who haven't use DreamExplorerII have this error.

I had fixed it and I have added few more things:

Hey silelis,
I don't want to disturb your monologe, but I have a problem with your plugin ;)

I tried to install the plugin in a Merlin3-Image from the normal feed. After a reboot and going to the Plugins-Menu I just got following error message:

"No module named zipfile"


I've searched at dreamboxupdate.com for a corresponding package, but couldn't find anything. Could you please give me a hint to the missing module?


Edit: OK, I've found the missing module in the control-file at schwerkraft. Somehow "python-compression" didn't install allthough there is a Depends in the control-file. There seens to be something wrong.

I could then start the plugin just to get a green screen :(
It can't find the button-pictures. I guess there went something wrong with the packaging or the makefile? Because on my Box there is only a path /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/SubsDownloader2/pic/HD/key_*.png instead of ..../SubsDownloader2/pic/buttons/HD/key_*.png like in your screen or at schwerkraft.
Anyway, you find the crashlog attached.

Hi,

Don't know why python-compression wan't install as dependencies. In GP3 I don't have this problem (strange). In free time I'll upload merlin and check it.

I've make correction of makefile.am file so (tomorrow) It should be compiled correctly.
