Hard Disk Initialization Error...

Hi guys....I'm using DM800 HD PVR. Trying to make use of the recording feature available in this model....I connected a hard disk to the internal bus after bypassing the eSATA bus in the box. After booting the box is able to detect the hard disk I've installed. Tried to initialize the disk, but unfortunately it throws an error after few seconds saying error:mount failed....can anyone pls help me to sort this out....appreciate your help and thanks in advance....
