Hello, I've tried to see if someone has already asked that first but couldn't find anyone. The problem I'm having is that when I activate DreamStream I can't see nothing on the screen, but I can hear it. Tried already to uninstall and the reinstall but nothing has changed.
I don't know whatelse to do. Any ideas?
PS. works with VLC Player

LazyT can you please tell me how to reduce the CPU load of DS E2?
Your program looks great, but I am getting chokes and lags in the streaming when i.e. surfing a web page in Firefox 3.6.x
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate x32 and I have already put an exception for DS E2 in AVP 9.x.

Hast du den Code optimiert? Hatte gerade eben mit der Version Beta 0.7 noch eine CPU-Auslastung von 40-50% und nun mit der Beta 0.8 nur noch 20-30%.
Oder hat das andere Gründe? Auf jeden Fall bin ich froh darüber!

hey, could someone plz help me, i just installed. the newest verion og dreamstresn e2. but when i try to stream i get a error:

its when i try to connect from work or other place. no problem when im a home.

i have open port 80 and 8001 and forwarded to my dm 800

Hello

Is it possible to watch these channels using Dreamstream.
I checked with DS for E1 0.3.2a and DM 7000. I also checked few versions for E2 with DM 800 and 8000. Result is still the same. Black screen. At bottom of the window I see
Streaming starting ...
Streaming succesfully started
but no picture and sound. Other channels work perfectly. How can I solve this problem?

Nice program, but some things missing to perfection. it cout be nice if you add following.

I understand this program based on vlc plugin.

First add subtitles button. On vlc it is enought press "V"

Some Vista and windows 7 users has problem with vlc in direct3D (default) picture is blur (small squares). If change to directx vlc shows nice.

And recording problem. If forgot about recording schedule time and stream is on. The channel doesnt change and doesnt record. If its not possible to make this program stop stream maybe possible to make warning message before recording (like "in 5min starts record") and you can stop program.

Ich habe WLAN und wollte dreamstream nutzen. Welche IP soll ich nehmen und muss ich was am DB 800 einstellen?
Dreamedit funktioniert sehr gut aber Dreamstream habe ich keine Ahnung wie die Einstellungen sein sollten!
Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?

Ist es möglich, nach dem Sendername gleich in Klammer zu schreiben, was aktuell läuft - ähnlich wie auf dem Webinterface.


Bug:
Bei Verwendung von 2 Bildschirmen wird das Vollbild immer in der Auflösung des Bildschirms 2 gezeigt.
Dann wird das Bild immer auf dem anderen Bilschirm gezeigt, als das Prog läuft.
Konkretes Problem:
Das prog läuft auf Bildschirm 2 (größer Auflösung), wenn ich jetzt auf Vollbild schalte, dann habe ich auf Bildschirm 1 das Bild, jedoch ist der Bildschirm "zu klein", sprich ich sehe nicht das ganze Bild.
Wenn das Prog auf Bildschirm 1 läuft, wird das Vollbild auf Bildschirm 2 angezeigt. JEdoch wird das Bild auf dem Bildschirm dann wiederrum nicht gefüllt.

Meine Beobachtung:

Wenn ich eine Aufnahme streame kann ich die Wiedergabe nicht pausieren und fortsetzen.
Ist das ein generelles Problem? Da man sogar im Fortschrittsbalken klicken kann (es aber nichts bewirkt), gehe ich davon aus dass dies nicht beabsichtigt ist.

Was ich nicht fand ist die Möglikchkeit die Aufnahmen noch herunterzuladen.
Und wie schon erwähnt, bei der Wiedergabe von HD-Sendern ruckelt es (je nach Action des Inhalts). Ich kannte es vom Stream im Webinterface dass nur Nick/Comedy stabil läuft und sogar normale PAL-Sender nach wenigen Sekunden abbrechen, da war DreamStream schon positiv. Reichen 100MBit nicht um die HD-Sender über DreamStream auf dem PC wiederzugeben?
Ich dachte schon über ein WLAN-Modul nach, falls es da ein 300MBit-Modul gibt das unterstützt wird. Da müsste ja noch etwas mehr übrigbleiben als beim LAN.
Oder gibt es noch 1GBit-USB-LAN dass unterstützt wird. Auch wenn USB 2 das bneschränkt wäre es schneller als 100MBit-LAN.
HDTV ist zunehmend wichtig. ARD, ZDF, RTL, Sat.1, ProSieben, Kabel1, Vox Und arte sind hier in der Senderliste dauerhauft an den Plätzen wo zuvor die SD-Versionen waren. Kommen noch mehr dazu, werden die auch die alten SD-Versionen in der Liste ersetzen.
Wäre schade, wenn es da bei einem HD-Receiver bzw. Enigma2 keine Möglichkeit gibt.


Ansonsten nützlichzes Programm, und ist ja erst 0.4.0.
Z.B. für den Zugriff meiner Eltern im Thailandurlaub. An einem VDSL-Anschluss hier (wären dann 10Mbit), und genug MBit DL dort, könnte das funktionieren.


P.S.: Es gibt für das iPhone ja schon zwei oder drei Apps, aber keine kann Streams wiedergeben.
Nein, das wäre auch nicht unmöglich. Solange man nicht Wert darauf legt in den App-Store zu gelangen, könnte irgend jemand evtl. etwas in kombination mit VLC4iPhone ermöglichen.
